What type of plug adaptor do I need for to be able to use my Dell laptop in the UK?
I'm an American moving to England... I don't want my computer to explode, I don't want to spend hundreds on batteries, I don't want to buy a new laptop, and I absolutely cannot go an entire year without my laptop. Any other suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

When you get to the UK you can get a universal power supply that will work on UK mains (power lines to us) and power your laptop. Contact Kensington and ask them for the correct model number for UK mains and your laptop. I'm certain they make one. If I'm wrong, an equivalent company in the UK does.
