will a us laptop work in the uk? e.g. the wireless settings/dvd/blueray players/ pc games and the plug outl?
I am in the usa and wondering if it would work in the uk as i going to buy a hp? Thanks any one who answers all the points!!!

Yes of course. But you have to reconfigure your wireless settings once you move to a different location. It would be best to establish a new wireless connection. Otherwise, your laptop will always be trying to connect to your US wireless network (which is no longer acessible because wifi range is very limited).
