Can I use my UK laptop on latin American power sockets without problems?

you first need a transformer and an adapter. UK is 220vt -like here in Spain- and I think Latin America is 110v and different plug. beside of this, you wont have any problem.

If not, you can always buy an adapter which makes it possible

Latin America uses 240-220v power sockets. if your laptop say it only uses 120-110v you are going to need an adapter for 240 to 120v outlet. Most laptops now (new ones 2-3 years old) come with their power adapters with 240-120v usage. check your power supply for your laptop - it should say something like Voltage Range
