Are there any incentives to help UK University students get a laptop?
Either free or cheap for someone who can't afford to buy a full price one? Actually it is not for me, I have my own laptop as proved by posting this question. It is for a friend of mine who wishes to start blogging but can't afford a computer. Stop being so judgemental :)

i think there is. my friend is doing a course with the open university and a they told her she can get up to four hundred pounds to buy a laptop. as far as i remember, she bought a laptop, sent in her receipt and got a refund.
