Do I need to have original OS and all softwares in my personal laptop brought to UK for Studies?
My lecture told me I have to because the immigration might ask to check. but its for my personal use, not selling it, will that be any problem with me?

All your software should be legal. You won't need the original disks, but if you have illegal software, it can be traced. However, the copyright people wanted immigration to check computers, ipods and so on, and immigration refused. But if they wanted to stop and search you and your computer because they were suspicious of you, they could do.
