Did you know that most newer display adapters allows you to rotate your screen display? Rotating your screen is not something that we normally do because our monitor sits the way it is and we don’t move them upside down. However this is something that I just learned today because I have a project on mounting a LCD TV that is mounted in 90 degrees so that it displays in portrait. When I plug in a laptop to the LCD TV, I will need to rotate the laptop screen in order to match the orientation of the display otherwise people will have to tilt their head 90 degrees to read what is on the screen. Other than that, if you have a projector that is mounted upside down, you’ll need to rotate your screen 180 degrees or else the computer that is connected to the projector will be shown upside down. A lot of people have netbooks such as EeePC nowadays because they are small and portable. You can also consider rotating the screen so that you can read PDFs and other documents in A4 format more comfortably. Today I will share with you how easy it is to rotate your display. First method is to try looking if your display adapter driver supports rotating display or not. Right click desktop and select Properties to open up your Display Properties. Go to Settings tab and click the Advanced button. On my laptop that is using ATI driver, there is a Rotation tab. It could be Rotate tab as well. On my desktop that is using NVIDIA driver, I’ll have to go to the NVIDIA Control Panel to access the Rotate Display options. You can now rotate 90 degrees to the right or left and also 180 degrees.

I believe he meant the US version of XP will not allow for Japanese input (without the purchase of expensive software). Of course, the Japanese XP would allow for native language support. Multi language support is one of the reasons I like Mac OS X. The ability to have many different languages in the same document is also very cool as I often have different disclaimers and usage info in them. I don't think I've seen it this extensive built in any OS. The ability to switch languages in the OS and most applications, menus, etc. change as well. Along with unix support so I can access a whole lot of different networks. I always have Terminal running... but the keyboard only differentiated the Toshiba laptop in the uk. you select a Toshiba language laptop means you get a native place language

Try going to an electronic store and ask an associate. Hope this helps!
Answer 2 :
This Samsung is a good laptop with the features that allows you to play games and also is fast.
Answer 3 :
Well, you're not going to get a Sony or an Apple with that price. MAYBE if it's refurbished, but even that's just about impossible. Here's the cheapest Mac I could find: http://store.apple.com/uk/product/FC506B/A?mco=MTM3NDgzNjY But good news! Dell is still in your price range. XD The computer I'm using right now is a Dell. I bought it last November. It's a Dell Inspiron 14R N4010. I built it on the Dell website and got it improved. It ended up costing me a little over $700 (around £440). It's a fairly good computer. I'm glad I made the purchase. Dell's (around the price you and I pay) aren't the best. But they will do the job. And if you want a fast computer, make you get a damn good processor. LOL I got an Intel core i3 and it's a little slow for my taste. I saw the one you picked out in your last question. It was pretty good. I'd say it's a safe choice.

You'll need a new power lead since the one supplied will be a US one. Check the laptop power supply before using it to make sure it will accept 240/230 v - most do.
