If I bought a computer (Mac Mini or Laptop) in USA will it work in UK?
I am going to the US soon and rather than spend a load of money at home for a computer, I can get a cheaper one there. I know that power supplies are different for the USA and UK but if I brought the computer home and then bought a power cable back home will it work?

Yes it has no reason for it not to, I have imported a laptop and a zune myself from the us. You need to change you time settings, get an adapter or new charger, may have no warrenty. http://www.avforums.com/forums/laptops-netbooks/376762-buying-laptop-usa-use-uk.html read some of that

yes, and the power supplies automatically switch between 110 and 240volts so you just need a $1 adapter. Apple price fix worldwide though and unless you are particulary lucky with the exchange rate it makes no difference on price. I know this as an apple user who goes to the states a lot. I got mine cheap by buying one new from ebay (my macbook pro cost £1400 instead of £1800 and the applecare cost me £90 instead of £300) I think people take advantage of not only the exchange rates but also student discounts and the varying worldwide cost of applecare in order to provide the machines and warranties so cheap. EDIT: the warranties are applicable worldwide.

yes it should work
Answer 4 :
Yes, all you need to do is a get all in one adapter that will let you plug it into the UK.
