if i bought a laptop from USA and brought it back to the uk would it work even if i brought the right adapter?
i brought a laptop from the USA for $1000 (£500) instead of buying the same laptop in the UK for £750 ($1500) would the laptop still work in the UK? Even though that the USA is NTSC and the UK is PAL? Any answers welcome Note: Thank you for your time and effort for reading this article.

Yeah, would need a new mains adapter probably as us it 110v and uk 230v but otherwise no probs (not sure about that....how to americans bring their laptops here....)

yes.and you can change the dvd region usually up to 5 times so you could watch uk dvds on it too.laptops are made to work on both 110 and 220v otherwise they would be useless for traveling.so u dont even need a voltage adapter just a us-uk socket adapter.

Basically Yes, NTSC and PAL are video formats, you would need to install the different video drivers which are easy to download. Everything else (internet, Wi-fi) should be compatible.
